My Monday in Spring Break

Here's what I did on MONDAY during my Spring Break - enjoy a long afternoon nap! 

Our 3rd Grade Performance

On Tuesday night, my class (3rd graders) put on our performance using the DDR.  We have been practicing with these since the first of the year - January.  DDR is "Dance, Dance Revolution".  It is a stepping pad that you step on as you watch a video game that sings and dances to a selected song.  Our team were group 1 boys - but we got beat!  At the end of the performance, my dad got up there to step on the DDR in front of everyone.  It was funny.

Trying to eat SUSHI - YUKO!

At GRAN's Mongolian Buffet, I got to try some really weird stuff to eat.  I tried to eat these cheesy clam things - nope.  Next I tried to eat some sushi - no way.  A baby squid was NOT going into my mouth... so I ate sweet 'n sour fried chicken pieces and ICE CREAM.  Watching the flame chef in the sushi bar was super cool!  I would like to be a chef and do fancy things like that!

My 1st Sonatina Festival

I played in my first Sonatina Festival and received a "SUPERIOR" rating.  I was so surprised.  I was very nervous.  There were lots of Childress students there and Mr. Monson that helped me not to be so scared.  I was one of 2 to get that high of an rating from Childress.  My mom and dad were proud of me.  I did like to play at the Sonatina - AFTER I did it!  (But I did have to wear a suit - YUK)
